本课题组长期致力于研究组织器官间交流对话(Inter-organ communication)调控免疫代谢稳态(Immune-metabolic homeostasis)的时空交互机制,探索能量稳态的应激响应系统调控肥胖、衰老以及免疫代谢相关健康稳态的分子机理,目前已鉴定了肌肉分泌因子、线粒体代谢物及脂滴等能量感应因子,揭示了骨骼肌介导各组织器官协同响应感染、昼夜节律或营养应激的能量转换机制,发现了骨骼肌为核心的免疫代谢响应体系,突破了组织器官间的免疫代谢对话如何适应各种应激的难题,为研究免疫代谢紊乱相关的疾病提供了理论基础,共已发表SCI论文25篇,总计引用超过1000次,其中以第一作者发表SCI论文10篇,文章发表在Cell Metabolism,Current Biology,Aging Cell,Current Opinion in Insect Science,BMC Genomics等领域内权威或Top期刊;单篇最高引用160多次,h指数14。相关研究引起了国内外学者的广泛关注和认可,英国医学科学院院士Irene Miguel-Aliaga教授为Cell Metabolism文章撰写亮点评论文章,另外发表在Cell Metabolism和Current Biology的文章获得Faculty Opinions(F1000Prime)推荐。曾主持完成国家自然科学基金青年项目(31301951)、中国博士后面上基金(2013M531638)各一项。目前正在受到西安交通大学 “青年拔尖人才支持计划”A类(2022-2028)、陕西省“三秦英才引进人才”青年项目和国家自然科学基金面上项目(2023-2026)的支持。

研究方向
营养及能量代谢的稳态调控是动物应对自然界各种生存挑战的关键机制,动物需要根据进食状态、营养水平或病菌感染的动态变化,利用免疫代谢感应系统实时调整能量资源的摄取、储存和利用。因此,能量代谢系统和天然免疫系统之间相互交叉,共进化形成了复杂的免疫代谢交互网络,在不同营养、生理与病理应激下调控能量代谢的适应性改变,是维持系统性免疫代谢稳态(immune-metabolic homeostasis)的关键机制。然而,各种营养、饮食、生理与病理应激往往诱发能量代谢紊乱,破坏机体的免疫代谢稳态,导致肥胖、衰老及多种免疫代谢疾病的发生,如糖尿病、脂肪肝、心血管代谢病、癌症及感染、炎症相关疾病,我国的人口老龄化则加剧了这些健康问题的严峻形势。因此,阐明能量的代谢稳态如何响应各种应激因素的应答机制,对于研究免疫代谢疾病及健康稳态的调控机理,推动面向人民生命健康的基础和应用研究具有重要意义。
由于各组织器官具有不同的代谢功能,因此能量代谢的稳态调控涉及多个组织器官间的功能互作、代谢模式的时空协同和代谢信息的交流对话。为了研究各组织器官如何协同响应不同能量应激的关键科学问题,需要从组织器官间对话网络(inter-organ communication)的维度突破能量感应调控与异常的研究瓶颈。例如,不同营养、饮食或生理与病理因素重塑能量代谢的过程中,骨骼肌(能量消耗)与脂肪(能量储存)、肠及大脑(能量感应、消耗及摄取)之间的代谢互作模式和信息对话机制仍亟待解决。因此,鉴定不同营养、饮食或生理与病理应激诱导的代谢酶、代谢物和分泌因子,揭示其介导组织或器官间对话的信号通路,阐明能量代谢适应性转换的调控机制,已成为生命健康研究的关键挑战。
本课题组聚焦上述面向人民生命健康的关键科学问题,长期致力于研究器官间对话调控免疫代谢稳态的分子机制,探索各种生理/病理应激因素诱发组织器官间的能量代谢失衡,进而导致免疫代谢紊乱并最终影响健康、衰老与寿命的生理机理。因此,本课题组将系统性阐明器官间能量感应体系的适应性响应机理,为研究免疫代谢紊乱相关的疾病和健康稳态提供关键的理论基础,主要研究方向包括:
(1)不同营养、生理与病理应激下,能量代谢系统与天然免疫系统之间的协同整合机制。
(2)组织及器官间的免疫代谢稳态调控衰老、肥胖、糖尿病、慢性炎症等免疫代谢障碍的分子机制。
(3)组织或器官间对话调控免疫代谢稳态的应激响应机制及其影响健康稳态的分子机理。
