现担任西安交通大学第一附属医院Med-X研究院免疫代谢性疾病研究所所长、中国老年医学学会副会长、中华医学会数字医学分会委员、中国医师协会内分泌代谢科医师分会副会长、陕西省医师协会内分泌代谢科医师分会会长,西安交通大学第一附属医院前院长。1983年毕业于北京大学医学部(原北京医科大学),毕业后一直在西安交通大学第一附属医院工作,2009年至2014年任西安交通大学第一附属医院副院长,2014年至2021年任西安交通大学第一附属医院院长。曾先后主持国家科技部重点专项项目、国家十五攻关项目子课题、国家自然科学基金面上项目、其他省部级项目等各级课题40余项。近5年在Nature, Nature medicine等杂志发表论文150余篇,出版专著5部,项目成果已授权多项国家发明专利。先后获陕西省科技进步奖一等奖1项、二等奖1项,陕西省教学成果特等奖2项、二等奖1项,1998年吴介平医学研究奖,2005年中国医师奖, 2011-2012年度卫生部有突出贡献的中青年专家,2013年全国五一劳动奖章, 2017年宝钢优秀教师奖,以及陕西“十年十大影响力”卫生人物榜、“三秦优秀院长”,首届“西安之星”,2019年中国好医生,2020陕西省第六批三秦楷模等荣誉称号。担任《THYROID》、《中华内科杂志》、《中华内分泌代谢杂志》等杂志编委。近二十年来一直致力于甲亢发病机制研究及疫苗研发,在国内首次成功制备鼠甲亢模型,在国际上首次成功制备恒河猴甲亢模型,树鼩甲亢模型,首次成功诱导了对甲亢的免疫耐受,经过近四年的努力、经反复实验研究证明诱导免疫耐受可有效预防甲亢的发病。已制备出预防甲亢的疫苗正在进一步优化之中。该方法的使用有可能颠覆甲亢未来的防治路径。

研究方向

1. 自身免疫性甲状腺疾病

施秉银教授课题组围绕针对GD(Graves Dieases)甲状腺疾病,开展了深入的发病机制及免疫干预系列研究,主要方向包括:

1) GD及其并发症多品系动物模型的构建,包括国内首个GD小鼠模型,国际首个猕猴和树鼩GD模型。开创了灵长类动物GD研究的先河。

2) 提出首次提出“新生免疫耐受预防GD”的免疫干预新理念,并在包括鼠、恒河猴、树鼩在内的所有动物研究中得到验证;

3) 促甲状腺素受体TSHR表达体系构建及转化,成功克隆TSH受体并分别建立了酵母和昆虫杆状病毒蛋白及CHO细胞表达系统,已建立制备和生产“甲亢疫苗”的体系,使通过疫苗接种预防人类甲亢成为可能。
